to me the best beetlebabes-centered episode of the animated series is "A Ghoul and his Money". it is at first implied that Beetlejuice is so greedy he gives up Beetlejuicing just to get rich. but with the sack of money in his hand and Lydia next to him he says "now that WE'RE stinking rich" and "c'mon babes I'm taking you to the classiest place on the Riviera" like fr. Lydia is 100% in his plans to use his money. he takes her to a ritzy place and even as it's clear the rich people don't think they belong, he's determined to do all the rich people things to show Lydia a good time. then he takes Lydia's advice on how to behave so they can keep their money and, as stated, so they can keep having fun. he's able to shrug off the rich people insulting him but when Lydia is insulted he stands up--but EVEN THEN he sits down and tells her "I'm only putting up with this so we can have fun with my money" confirming that the reason he took the money and gave up Beetlejuiceing to get it was because he thought Lydia would have fun being rich with him. as soon as she says she's not having fun he gives up being rich and starts Beetlejuicing everyone again not because it makes him happy but because it makes Lydia laugh and have fun and be happy. and it is very clear that Lydia has the most fun with Beetlejuice when he is being himself. Lydia having fun and is the most inportant thing to him...in that episode in particular it seems to me Beetlejuice enjoys Beetlejuicing yes because he likes making people insane but also because it more importantly because he makes Lydia laugh. to me it is just mwah perfection. also fuck those rich people. 10/10 the best episode period is "Brides of Funkenstein"
